OT Let's discuss some of the New features offered on SI. Streaming Real-Time Portfolio I signed up and placed five stocks on list one. Pretty cool, you can watch them move 1/16 back and forth real time. Value to AIM BB? Notta in my view!!! SI Communicator Now I see some possibilities here. siliconinvestor.com Lets just say for discussion purposes that for what ever reason we wanted to have a group meeting to discuss a pre announced topic. Wha la! The technology is at our finger tips. Keep in mind that this is a crude version of some of the better avenues like "ICQ" but I think it would or could serve a meaningful purpose for the AIM BB should we decide to have a town meeting. For example. JZGalt and gang use to have a monthly session at Confirmatory for the purpose of discussing the current stock selections for the new month. They generally set the meeting for 2:00 EST on a Sunday afternoon. Well Dave invited me to a session and about 1/2 dozen folks participated. He really lit me up because he announced me as a Friend he had met on the AIM BB at SI. The pick that month was Forward Air (freight forwarding company for the Airports). Dave, forewarned me of the topic and asked me to due some DD on the company. Well I didn't take the time and here is what took place. The discussion started and I was nervous as hell, because what you see is everyone typing questions and statements simultaneously. Someone asked me what I thought of Forward Air as an investment. I replied, that I couldn't make an Informed decision because I didn't know how many planes they had in the air. Well Dave, for a damn good reason didn't talk to me for over a week. Then when he did, he still called me his friend. When the next meeting came around, he invited me again. This time I listened... Okay, what is my point? With this feature we can participate in an open debate. Not everyone will come, and those that do will chime in or drop out. Some type better and others know more about the subject. So what! There is something about the liveliness that brings out a healthy discussion. Just my Thoughts... Fire One!!! Keith@fullBelly.org
