Seems Shrub opened his big mouth and inserted one of those Texas cowboy boots today when he appeared before a microphone he thought was not open.

Yep! My kind of consensus builder is my good friend Shrub.
And Ron wonders why Shrub gets a phobia when he is around those microphones.

Engaging in the Magnificient Beauty of Art, Music, Philosophy, and, above all, Making Love.

I think, given the size of some of their families, conservatives pretty much know about that last part... <vbg>

And a huge proportion of the world's art, music, and philosophy has been centered around religion so I think we all know something about that too...

And I guess you missed my point about your 23 year old friend who lost benefits that I didn't get to enjoy during my time at college.

I'm sorry that I have little sympathy for him since I was told my father made too much money (something like $30,000 back then) to qualify for financial aid. The problem was that HE DIDN'T think he made enough to help me through college. So one day he told me.... "son, if you want to go, you'll have to work for it... It builds character"

Well, I offer the same suggestion to your friend. Only when doing "without", do you appreciate "being with".

At 23 years of age, he should have been working anyway... what was he.. a professional student?
