The press going ga-ga over the asshole comment will backfire. Few people care about the feelings of the press. That guy from the N.Y Times probably is an asshole. I believe it was Dilbert who said..."The best way to improve an organization is to fire the assholes, everyone knows who they are, just ask people to point them out, and then fire them". That's a classic comment. I wouldn't even apologize if I was Bush. I would simply say, "sorry, I forgot the mike was one". Michael
