Hey Ron........seems that Bush can't handle the truth....... ""It was not known
which of Clymer’s articles
Bush was unhappy about,
but in April the reporter
wrote a hard-hitting piece
about health care in Texas,
critical of the governor for
not making public health a
priority.
The article began,
“Texas has had one of the
nation’s worst public health records for decades. More than
a quarter of its citizens have no health insurance. Its
Mexican border is a hotbed of contagion. The state ranks
near the top in the nation in rates of AIDS, diabetes,
tuberculosis and teen-age pregnancy, and near the bottom
in immunizations, mammograms and access to physicians.”
The author of a biography of Sen. Edward Kennedy,
Clymer has reported extensively on politics, elections and
public opinion. He was the paper’s national political
correspondent for the 1980 presidential campaign, polling
editor from 1983 to 1990, and political editor for the 1988
presidential campaign.
In a statement to CNN, Andrew Rosenthal, national
editor of the Times, defended Clymer’s coverage as “fair
and accurate.”

<<One of these days, these guys are going to figure out that we need to develop a anti-meteor defense network...>>

Funny but much of the technology used to protect us from the missiles of another country are the same technologies needed for this effort. Our current leaders will simply never spend a single penny in any area which will not buy them votes - no matter the longer term need.

This is the real reason the Republicans need be elected, no Republican will ever own the media. The Republicans will have their feet held to the fire by the media for all time. We Americans have proven we hold enough intellectual integrity to throw a crooked lying manipulative Republican President out of office for the good of the nation. The Republicans in Congress would be forced to cross the aisle to join hands with the Democrats in tossing out Bush were he proven to be a lying crooked scum such as Clinton. The same can not be said of the Democrats!

Every aspect of efforts by a fully Republican controlled White House will be reported & questioned. Hide & watch, most of the media still can't see or report any wrong done by Clinton Gore.

OT:
Ron, you asked why I hang around those biotech stocks.
1)I hope that someday we can cure some of the diseases that affect so many of our people.
2)They make me rich so I can give something back to the poor people.
3)Just one example of one that I bought three weeks ago at $8.25 when no one was paying attention(must have been arguing politics from daylight to darkness)as it averaged trading a few piddle trades a day....http://biz.yahoo.com/cnw/000905/a_axcan_ph.html
