I think it would be nice if someone reminded Mr. Ebbers amd Sidgmore about shareholder value, their failure to advance that value for about two years and the idea that deals for deal's sake is hardly what they're paid for. What if "the Street" is correct? We're garbage for another year!! Jacob lost his selling opportunity.

Dear S.W.: Maybe, maybe not. Like earlier poster said, we dont know enough about this deal to comment. So far only thing people complaining about is the price but what about the interest in the other company, what are Bernies plans. We dont know, no one knows. If it turns out he is wrong then I would agree with you and hang up the stock, but I think its best for now we wait and see just what he has in mind. I say he's either going to look like a champ or a chump. He has a lot riding on this besides money, his personal EGO is at stake here. I doubt he did this rashly. JDN
