Didn't you see the splash about AMD becoming one of Germany's biggest exporters? Build em with euros and sell em for dollars. Sounds good to me.

Chis, Re: A weak Euro also means it will be harder to sell top dollar parts. In order to get $700 USD for a 1.1 Ghz, the price would have to go up in Euro's.

Sorry but your calculation is flawed. Keep in mind that AMD Saxony is located in Germany and buy it equipment with German currency (i.e. Deutsche Mark --> Euro because both currencies are fixed together). If AMD Saxony sells to the U.S.A. a 1.1 GHz Thunderbird for $700 they actually get €780 for it (at the current exchange rate). Some months ago they'd gotten less then €700. So they profit from the weak Euro.
