I may have misunderstood, but I was quite sure I read the subsidy ban was on IS-95A and IS-95B handsets, and not relevant for 3G, or IS-95C/CDMA2000 handsets. With KT, SK and LG all deploying CDMA2000/1XRRT in the next month, I would assume the subsidy is a moot point, providing the government considers 1XRRT 3G. This would explain the waiving the activation fees without a lifting of the subsidy. Can somebody help me out here.
