Dear Sean: No, it was Digex not intermedia which turned down the 8 Billion. WCOM is acquiring intermedia BUT intermedia owns 54% of Digex. So you would have to take 8 billion times 54% but even so it makes the 6 Billion paid for intermedia more palatable. JDN
