I think you are wrong there. BEAS will continue to lead IBM because they have superior service and knowledge, which is ahead of everyone.

BEAS repeatedly is winning contracts over their competition, and once assigned the job, they far exceed the companies expectations! With a winning combination like this, It is a just a matter of time before BEAS is no longer considered the "small guy".

Remember BEAS is Number one for a reason!

No offense, but you're strategy seems to be to short the market leaders (bea, sun, oracle) and go long on a niche player like sybase? IBM is probably ok, but there's probably better buys. BEA has focus, IBM is all over the place - although I must admit, they are executing nicely, but for how long?
