Well, I guess I know where you stand. For me, it's difficult to seriously entertain your notion that Gilder does his readers no service by talking of what might happen 5,10, or 20 years from now. His speculations are(as all subscribers surely know) precisely part and parcel of what he's selling from the get go; thus it would be negligent of him to dispense with such offerings, in point of fact.

Re: "10 years from now no one will remember this article. If that's Gilders game then maybe he's smarter than I give him credit for."

No, I feel you are guessing his "game" wrong. In point of fact, after years had passed, Mr. Gilder has "already" been shown to have been wrong at times(Horrors!), yet has himself been the first source to repeat the truth of his own error. Hence some of us here may know better than to buy your scenario. He is indeed likely smarter than you give him credit for, nevertheless.

Articles by Mr. Gilder and others may be anything but worthless. The future may be impacted by what's been dreamed up in the past.

A very seriously respectable individual, that Mr Gilder, IMO.

Freedom Works,
