"one who professes to wish to save children , would not be so consumed with hate ." Very poor analogy and the "hate" attribution is not substantiated. We all have the ability to despise injustice and the people who commit heinous and evil crimes. New born and unborn children are innocent and all of us recognize and appreciate the value of innocence in a human life. There is no logical contradiction in saying I can hate some person yet advocate for the protection of innocent creatures. This does not define or even come close to extremism.
