niceguy,
re:stock sale

Don't worry about it.

Think about this:

2 billion dollars, no problem AMD exceeding earning estimates in 2001 "the iNteL way."

AMD stock will go up and the analysts will love it.
:o)

Niceguy, "I own a smaller percent of a larger comapny..."

So, If you want to own a really small percent of a really large company I can recommend Intel.

Even though AMD grows faster now in terms of absolute market cap, I will see my portfolio, with a smaller share of the cake, grow with a less percentage rate than before. Probably!

I completely understand the concern of John Fowler and other Intel longs about this offering.

A high flying AMD stock that can be sold to build FABs is Intel's biggest nightmare.
