Hi Bisco, may be, may be not.ALA has significant lead in submarine systems over the rest of vendors, including NT.
As for trouble, I do not know specifically the story, however
every vendor has its own problems.
Would NT do so well in optics , if Alan Lutz did retain Cambrian OPtera for Newbridge?.....
Ask falks from Cambrian.

BTW, ALA submarine systems definitely are not heavily dependent on former NT unit,
were the same can't be said about Cambrian OPtera.
Why NY sold its submarine unit to ALA, if they had "optical vision"?

Regards
Zbyslaw
