I haven't been reading Red Herring consistently enough to get an impression one way or the other. The September issue with a page-length picture of Dr J and the equivalent of a full-page article titled "Qualcomm's OK with CDMA" seems to add some balance. Regardless, if you're right on the money that the editors are primatily GSM-centric, it can't hurt to have them helping us keep a close eye on the competition.

As for the weight of the magazines, I agree entirely. I've been carrying around about six of them for two weeks. Unlike our great thread-header, my toes were spared the consequences of the force of gravity.
