While hanging around Pearl Harbor Hawaii for a couple of days earlier this summer I had the opportunity to read both Red Herring and Wired. While both were huge volumes, I found Wired to be more technology oriented and overall it seemed to be a more effective read than Red Herring. The latter seemed to be more style than content concious. All IMHO of course.
