<ggg> Right, sounds like something I would say. THIS IS MADNESS!!!

AMD cut the price in half on 1 GHz. And, since the (Register) rumor is that they have another price cut coming, it looks like there are not enough takers even at 1/2 the price of equivalent Intel chips.

I'm making the same point now as I was making last month, that AMD's "sweet spot" price point is a lot lower than Intel's, at the same MHz, and that AMD had to lower prices in order to sell the products.
