Two more splits at 2/1 puts 10+ billion shares out there. Forget it in my opinion. At least you are better than the guys two years ago who were talking about the next 'six splits in six years', and 'how long will it take for my 100 shares to make me a millionaire'. Guess they forgot that six splits puts 160 billion shares out into the float at 2/1 based on the 2.6B or so outstanding now.

Regards,
John

Besides, at 160 billion shares the environmentalists would start complaining about how many trees had to be cut down to print all those Dell stock certificates <ggg>.

Mepci,
Hi!!

RE: We are all trying to learn.

And the more I study what DELL is setting up for the future the more I'm convinced it will be the usual...Yet, "THE OPPORTUNITIES" that he is referring to are mind boggling...Technology as we know it is just in the infancy...I'm confused as to the puzzle that they are putting together (really an amazing amount of alliance/partnerships,etc in such a short time)....Surely they all aid the customer relationships yet, I suspect they have far deeper reaching concepts still coming...Also, I'd love to know where his vision is going with wireless ...No doubt their efficiencies of the past will aid them in these new hardware areas...I believe SUNW operates on 51% margin and EMC on 53%....Surely, Michael wouldn't have made those unusually strong "grandstanding" comments about SUNW and EMC if he wasn't confident...And, it's that confidence that I have always admired...Nice to hear him speak that way...I wish he'd be that open more often...I keep remembering all the years gone by where skeptics said they'd never be able to do this or do that...I'm here Mepci because of his record and experience...Betting against him long term has not been a wise move...He's young...still very young...And from what I gather...Still hungry!

Best, Kemble
