Good replies JohnG, cfoe, A.L. Reagan and JGoren. I agree, Qualcomm needs to license the seller to assure correct payment.

Perhaps Telson could brand the phones "Nokia", paying Nokia a percentage of sales but selling the phones through their own distribution channels? Or maybe Nokia could distribute them (again for a fee) but payment could be due Telson?

After all, Telson isn't exactly a household name in the U.S.

Otherwise what benefit is there to Nokia? Nokia already has at least one CDMA phone. It had a few problems but why would they go to Telson for their designs when the Nokia problems were fixable?
