i subscribe to various newsgroups via netscape, and the only two microsoft groups i have are 5.5 beta groups.

tc, This might give you something to try:

EDIT: Remember to export a backup registry (if you are unfamiliar with editing registry, PM me).

Go to this key in the windows registry (regedit.com):
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Then where it says "NoFileMenu" change the "1" to a "0".
