Clappy, Speaking of football, I went to the S. Carolina-Georgia game and Holtz blew Donnan away. half the talent and Donnan never had an answer. One of the best cat and mouse games I've seen. Crowd was electric. Followed up with the G. Tech-FSU game and Tech almost pulled a fluke win. They beaten all game long and kind of hung around like a Princeton basketball team. No call 4th down interference ended Tech's drive with 2 min left on the FSU 40. Disclosure: Wife went to USC, Myself G. Tech GL next weekend. Dutch

Hi Clappy. Daunte did look pretty good at times. However he fumbled the ball away on one drive and threw 3 interceptions against 1 touchdown. Two of the interceptions were deflections and not really his fault, but the other two turnovers were rookie mistakes that he probably won't make again. He did not rush for any touchdowns, but he did make a few key first downs rushing. I wish Tampa was not in our division. I am starting to think that the road to the Super Bowl may lead through Tampa Bay! I think that tonights Jets vs Pats game will be great. I will watch it even though Miller and Fouts will be announcing!<gg> I agree - the best games have Madden and/or Somerall as commentators. BWDIK! I used to like Howard Coselle too! Dallas did lose again. Someone once told me their favorite teams were NY Giants and whoever was playing against Dallas. Ritch
