There is a CLEC convention starting tomorrow I think and DSL is in the news. The providers are getting ink now but the equipment makers will get it next week. What can I say about CMTN except that I feel your pain since I am in a similar situation with NTPA. Here is the latest news on COVD and RTHM including some mega large deals!

PS, I hope you're right on the COMPX. I'm holding too many good stocks selling at low traditional P/E's that deserve to be higher. My own analysis does not go into near the depth that your's does on the COMPX. I'm just watching that lower Bollinger Band and feeling like we are going to see another violation soon.

HI HARRY!

Interesting that you we're in RFMD. I actually bought a small initial stake in RFMD today at 38 1/4 and will allow drawdown to about 35. The way the stock rebounded in the end when the general selling pressure subsided suggests imho that the stock might go up nicely if the market turns sideways or up. Like you i'm 90+% in cash right now and just building tiny positions in companies i like. BTW our prediction of 3800 could be reached tomorrow. Still think we're in for a good bounce from there...

Hi Harry; How is Kopin's (KOPN) record on forward looking statements? They formed a new group to concentrate on high speed transistors for optical communications networks. They seem to be in the right 'hot' areas and look to have tremendous potential. I was just wondering if you think that they tend to blow their own horn too much. Here is a quote from Dr. Fan in a recent press release;
"The new Group also complements our strategy to significantly increase
HBT capacity with the addition of our state-of-the-art fab in Taunton that should be operational later this year. A significant portion of
this HBT fab, which we believe will be the largest and the most advanced fab in the world, will provide support for our OC-192
fiber-optic system products and development efforts for other related optical applications such as OC-768 40-gigabit systems."

I am still holding and may add to my current position. Do you still have KOPN?
