Ah, so most of the Clinton Era was not real prosperity, because we still ran deficits? We only hit real prosperity in the last year or so? The fact is that borrowing can be good or bad. It makes more sense to take out a mortgage than to buy a house outright, even though you pay more in the long run, so that you do not tie up revenue, and build equity in something durable. It makes even more sense when the borrowing is for productive investment. This ranges from buying a business to getting a college degree, both of which are likely enough to increase earnings. Your analysis is so superficial that it is worthless.......
