Rick..I agree..it could happen...a hard "break" towards CDMA is going to happen rapidly as the need to construct, the cost of construction and spectrum for 3G, begins to confront wireless operators as a reality and not some "theoretical" discussion about the future. When you finally have to write the check how can you sign it for TDMA/GSM?...its a career decision and a wrong one...CDMA is the only place to hide.

Street observation: Fact: ATT Wireless is buying thousands of Ford Econolines (sans Firestone tires). These vans are currently being equipped with drawers, tools and supplies. Are they preparing for a conversion to CDMA? Then why is the talk about ATT getting in bed with Nextel?

HERE’S TO THE FUDster’s ! Thanks for the opportunity. This summer may well have been the best buying opportunity that the Q could have possibly given us. (not for the faint of heart) Rick, I totally convinced my doubting self when I wrote that post recently re events that will positively affect the Q. Message 14335372 But I would seriously like to thank the FUDster’s that gave me the opportunity this summer to load up truck after truck (may – sept) that I could find and buy as much Q ’03 leaps as I could find the money for.
