You do not understand how to read polls. All of the polls since the end of August have been within the margins of error, which means that they are statistically tied. They have also been pretty consistent among themselves, showing slight to no leads in most instances over the last couple of weeks........

The media, who are biased in favor of Bush

You're a funny guy. The president of OPEC has said we're approaching a crisis of major proportions. Gas pumps have run dry in Britain and Europe. But the top stories of the day are the laughable RATS ad (which is nothing but the end of the word bureaucrats) and Gail Sheehy's story in Vanity Fair that wonders if Bush has ADD. As if that's possible for an MBA from Harvard that has also been a fighter pilot. Gore has had nothing but positive press and Bush nothing but negative press. Get real.

There was a poll Friday which showed Gore surging. It was a one day poll. Most are sliding averages so a surge would get mellowed out. If it looks like a blowout and the debates haven't even happened it may cause some apathy in the voters.
