They swooped down on the Threads and began to BASH at leisure, calling the Company a SCAM and the Officers CROOKS. Messages such as this (by one of the soon-to-be defendants) began to appear and a lot worse, including threats of a sexual nature made against the wife and daughter of the CEO, Mr Tony Tobin.... Overvalued : Anthony @ Equity Investigations, Dear Anthony, 2) ZSUN decided to take legal action, because "I told them to do so", according to the Shorters... It's a well known fact I run ZSUN single-handed and a Lawsuit was filed, like many others in similar circumstances, against Bashing Shorters...ragingbull.altavista.com 3) After a while, I was contacted by "Bear Down", another Shorter... I kind of liked him because I felt he was a straight-shooter... He asked me to use whatever contact I had with ZSUN to put an end to the Lawsuit in exchange for the Shorters agreeing NOT to post against ZSUN again and settle out of Court... I agreed it was a good idea, as nobody had anything to gain from the Suit and exchanged a number of e-mails and Private Messages on SI to this end... While ZSUN was willing to go along with the idea and the Shorters held off posting for a while, a final solution couldn't be reached in time and the Shorters resumed Posting against the Company with a vengeance... By that time we had posters with large ZSUN positions claiming they'd be approached by the Market Maker FAHNESTOCK to cover a 650,000 short, under the BID, preferably... The short position was estimated to be well in excess of 4 Millions shares, at one point in time...4) Here are recent Excerpts of a post made on 4th September 2000 by Goldfinger, one of the Shorters, showing the Extent of his CRASNESS to the other SHORTING GROUPEERS... ...."I make no bones about shorting fraud and manipulated companies. Since I want to hedge my longs, why not do it with something that statistically always blows up in the end? The sooner your shares go down to where they belong, the less people get ripped off. And since the SEC has its hands full with so many frauds, why not help them out and make a little dough in the process?... 5) Here is a reply to CM Burns, caught LYING... ragingbull.altavista.com 6) Alpine Sleuth Episode: After spending a substantial amount of time trying to resolve the Lawsuit problem, Alpine Sleuth, a co-defendant, contacted me, asking for help, which I promptly provided... In fact, I counted some 36 e-mails I wrote to him trying to resolve his problem, not counting the other e-mails sent to ZSUN... He was claiming that a certain Company having connections to ZSUN owed him a sum of money... Through my intervention, payment of about one third of the claimed amount, or some $65,000 (from memory) were made to him... Unfortunately, the relationship broke down and he didn't receive the rest...
