>>>There are a whole host of stocks out there that have performed well and have solid earnings growth and still aren't excessively priced. Broaden your horizons. <<<

GV, I took a quick look at your posts, and I didn't see anything but Techs? Broaden my horizons?<g>

These others sectors aren't performing that well today either, except " fuel-cell" stocks...Oils, Banks...no thanks, I like some drugs/biotechs....I swing trade whatever presents good opportunity. I took a quick look at my sector lists, nothing was that spectacular today.

I like techs...everyone likes techs....no need to have that broad of a stock selection to be successful.....I think the market overall has been hurt the last few days....there are always stocks that defy market direction on any given day. Ok...yeah Tech stocks got/are getting killed today....better?<g> I tend to view the Nasdaq as "the Market"

...so I didn't catch the bottom of LU....but, I will be there when it does happen, LU is definetly a value play for me.

GV,

I'm still sniffing around LU, have not taken a position. It looks to me as if LU has been getting beaten up more than some others over the past week or so. Think it's the traditional 'year end loser fund selling' or something else? It almost smells like more bad news coming to me, but that's just a WAG based on what I have seen with other issues over the years. Any thoughts?

Regards,
John
