When do these research reports typically come out? In the pre or post market? EFNT raised to strong buy with a $175 target and the stock nosedived today 7+ points to $47 (I bought some today at 46 3/4)http://www.wrhambrecht.com/research/coverage/enetwork/efnt.html

Just thinking out loud. Since AT&T and other major telco need wider margins do you think they will start buying the DSL and/or streaming media area. Their back is against the wall and need to come out fighting. And we all know they have the money.

Rande,
Since you're so good at these things and seem to like it, maybe you would like to formalize or debunk this observation (if it hasn't already been).
It seems that when the NDX closes at or near the low of the day, inevitably there is a gap the next day; and just as inevitably the close is the opposite of the gap. Seems to be true the last 8 or 10 times anyway.
Strength at the open today after a close near the low yesterday was an "obvious" sell signal? Now if we can just get a gap down tomorrow....
