HB specifically stated there was no guidance from the company.

Very interesting. Somehow all analysts are independently adjusting their forecasts, sometimes by a mere few pennies, to the figure of -$0.32 per share.

Maybe they all had some sort of religious experience in which they say 32 written in gold letters on the sky or somethin'

HB specifically stated there was no guidance from the company. I read the complete report.

"As usual, Amazon is offering no intra-quarter commentary on the tone of the business, but based on our modeling we believe our estimates are conservative."

Glenn,

That doesn't mean Blodget didn't ask the company where he stood relative to other analysts, and which number looked more feasible. Someone somewhere must have mentioned to him that his interest expense number was too low. Remember he chose not adjust his estimates for the France announcement, even though he said it would have an impact.
