No sense digging into this can of worms on the 'patch thread. If people want to stick to their version of the moral high ground (or swamp), their business choice.

Personally I've worked in some pretty rotten places (and good ones) and I've seen how discriminating the righteous are with the tarbrush. The easiest targets (hence the easiest political exposure) are the ones who don't see it coming because they're not expecting it; they're doing nothing wrong.

Looks like I pushed you away from the can to dig myself!

TLM is one of the best laggards of all IMHO.

I agree but it will probably continue to be a laggard because of the negative press due to their relationship with the current Sudanese government.

I'm not one to judge whether or not this negative press is justified, as I haven't followed the story closely and I certainly don't know enough facts to choose a side. At the same time, this negative association makes me believe that there are other 'laggards' that will give investors similar returns to those of TLM, without the associated baggage.
