Looks like hot topic of the day is "Guns dont kill people, people do". I agree with NRA on this one. Guns don't kill. I also commend their efforts on educating responsible gun ownership as reminded to me by PROLIFE (wonder why we don't have a user named PROGUN).
Also, I believe that Nuclear bombs in all nuclear nations don't kill people. People do. I would personally recommend NRA to extend their education on responsible Nuclear weapon ownership. Special education programs for kids should be designed in this regard. Their noble deeds need to be commended indeed.

Long-Gone But Not Forgotten: I do not own a firearm. I do own a dog. I used to shoot trap once in a while with a borrowed 12 gauge. But that was years ago. Re: "Do you know anything deeper than the anti-firearms propaganda that I am spoonfed by the mass media?" All I know is what I read in the papers.
