That's only obvious to the partisan hacks in big media and the dorks who believe them. Let me guess. You never miss Dan Rather's news.

It is abundantly clear he is dodging debates where he can't control and limit the format, and the sophistry of his campaign and supporters hasn't at all spun the public away from the obvious.

A little bit of PR jujitsu and they could have been pushing five debates (the commission's three and Bush's two
extra) instead of arguing whose three debates.


I agree. What I feel is that the only thing they should have insisted on is the order of the debates -- the meaningless Oprah-type ones first, and then the real man-to-man debates last.
