I do enjoy think time though. You should try it."world is moving toward those who can get along." I get along quite well with my business associates from various points on the globe. We respect one another's integrity and challenge each other to live up to high standards and principle. Creepy people who have no credible standards of decency, and who get in everybody's face with an agenda don't survive long in an atmosphere that requires a high level of trust. I actually have people that I can make deals with, involving six and seven figures...on a hand shake and my word. Surprised? Of course you are and I am not surprised that you are surprised or even disbelieving. We eventually get around to legal paperwork but the real deal is consumated on trust alone. At that level there is really no other way to get things done. Well, hostile takeovers maybe, but I don't really see the point in that. You have shown a willingness to compromise on principle to such a degree that standards no longer have a platform, let alone common reference. I assure you that standards of decency do not change as you move around the planet. People who think they can ignore them, lower them, or finegle them to their advantage get eaten alive everywhere....and that's nothing new. Diversity is not an issue nor do we need training because we are what you are required to learn about. I have never encountered a diversity issue among my associates or employees. One of the lowest levels of enculturation into understanding diverse cultures is your pathetic apologetic and compromising attitude toward differences, and your preconcieved notions about the status of western social movements. I admit it is at least a starting point, if you are willing to move off of start. The way you see your self as an elite member of the cool social movement folk is a real problem in diverse groups. If you could only get us to see your advanced thinking on women, minorities, the economy, the planet, etc and how each of us will benefit by supporting YOUR agenda we could all be the same, with you in our lead...oh what a wonderful world it would be. Well, you think that shows understanding or empathy or something. It shows alright, but it is demeaning and offensive to people who do not see you as the newer, better age, roll model waiting for the rest of us to catch up. We get it, its shallow, and see right through you. "I've been living it for a decade in a half dozen high tech companies." No body wants to keep you huh. To bad, I hope I don't see your resume on my desk. I've received about fifty in the last couple of days. Several small companies are offering to sell out to me, I hope I don't see you hanging around one of them. Pass your ideas along and your grandchildren... Well, that's a ways off. My kids, however, are quite well prepared to take the reigns. I am happy to turn everything over to them too. That comes from a supportive and stable upbringing, I am pleased to say. This is the new economy... Thanks for the update but 1) as you can see you were way off base in your presumptions and accusations...as usual, and 2)you are a late bloomer. Successful people worked through this between 20 or 30 years ago. Anybody such as yourself that is just now catching on...well, that's why I enjoy this thread sometimes. As you have known me on these threads now for a couple of years, you may have noticed that nearly all of my serious comments have boiled down to an issue of trust. Trust is based on common sense truths and the perception of a just system. When you establish these as a way of life you establish a system for your self based on principles of living. The perception or even hint of unfairness or untruth destroys trust. Why do you think that the accusation or appearance of a "cover up" destroys the political candidates more quickly in the poles than the belief that he/she actually did something innapropriate? We don't really care too much about who did what at a party twenty or thirty years ago; especially if that is clearly not what they represent today. Everyone seems to care very much if they are saying it never happened and witnesses are saying it did happen. We care a great deal because it represents an issue of trust. See, truth and justice counts and it is a measure of a persons character...maybe the only real measure. bc is a liar.
