what's most amazing is that the energy component of the PPI has been falling two times in a row now, during a time when the rally in the energy complex accelerated to its fastest pace since it began. look at NG...it has risen by 25% in the time period where BLS says it has first gone up by 6,3% and then fallen by 0,3%...

i would say we can use these data point to adjust ALL data emanating from that banana republic dependence. in other words, the same amount of inflation understatement that is OBVIOUS in energy, applies to everything...productivity is probably growing by 1%, not 5,7%, GDP by 2%, not 5,3%, and inflation is rising by about 7% or so...just guessing now, havent worked it out in detail. bottom line is, you can't trust ANY of the data they're putting out. they're simply making it up...whatever fairy tale is needed for the bubble is being told by them. presumably they're under orders from the exceedingly honest administration.
