They own- and they paid cash. However, the homeowner's association, which probably hates Dan and me because we avoid it like the plague and they are hoping we now suffer for our attitude toward organizations of any kind, has been alerted. The people may not have the covenants, as they didn't get a mortgage.
They want to build a three car garage, and convert the existing one into a guest house. I HEARD the new building was to be metal- a no-no even in our lenient neighborhood, and that's why the Homeowner's Association is involved now.

The owner TOLD a neighbor that he should call ANimal Control if he saw his dogs loose. The neighbor lives on the other side and has started keeping his sweet peopledogs, a puppy and an Irish Setter, inside, terrified they will be mauled. I asked Tesh and Meyers to stay in but they are at that adolescent kitty age, thinking they can do anything and take care of themselves, and just don't listen to me.

THe only thing I can think of is to load AMmo's pellet gun and keep it in the sunroom, in case they come in our backyard. I WILL kill them if they get loose even once. They're not pets, they're not leashtrained, or hunting dogs, or played with, they just exist.

Why do people have dogs who are just THERE for no reason?
It seems so redneck or something. And it's so NOT SOuthlake.
LOL.
Color me yuppie under my rebel exterior.
