99% of the software doesn't need the fast pc though, and the 1% that does will be optimized, so it's true that while you may not see SSE2 optimizations across the board, you'll see them where it's needed, and that's where all the benchmarks will be.

Do you really think the next ID games won't be SSE2 optimized? (or whatever else is big in the gaming world these days, i don't really follow it)
