whativer, there is more to the article in the link, it states that in 1981 there were 324 operable refineries with 69% capacity utilization and in 1999 there were 159 operable refineries with 96% utilization, just a messenger <gg>

What is your take on where did the refining capacity went? I mean the capacity before OPEC cut production?>>

Get Bush/Cheney in there in Nov and you'll see how fast this "oil problem" goes away, they'll whip OPEC into shape in no time, or else..
