William: We have a market that is drifting down in the face of good news... The Volatility is low (<20)... This tells me we don't have panic selling but an absence of buyers... This usually occurs near a bottom... bigcharts.com We could see a retest of the 3500/3600 area on the NDX... I have an intermediate term trendline sitting in the 3490 area... We don't seem to have a catalyst to move the market higher... With interest rate fears subsiding, there appears to be concerns about future earnings in a soft landing environment... Good numbers from ORLC weren't enough to move the market, let alone ORCL which dropped over 5%... yahoo.cnet.com This week brings us to that point where we test prior support... We either get the double bottom or say hello to NDX 3000... Let's see what happens... Jim
