A few years back I always bought my latest release of Linux in Bob Young's kitchen. To the extent I think I know Bob he will never sell any shares. Linux is Bob's passion.

157 million shares out, 157 million dollars of profit is needed for a P/E of 21 some time in the future. To quote Bob Young, "Linux will make the 5 billion OS market a 500 million market."

So what is the plan to make the money.

Linux is totally open and anyone can create/copy/clone a distribution. Linux support can be given by any free lancer. Think of all the folks making money supporting msft as menu managers. Linux documentation make the understanding of Linux, how it really works far easier.
