Saboted carrots

I'm going to report you to Joan.

dictionary.com doesn't recognized saboted. They have four entries for sabot, but all show it only as a noun.

I'm not saying absolutely until I get home and consult my OED, but I think you're going to be in trouble with the grammar police.

How about freezing the potato? Would that work? Make it more lethal?

Freeze it in liquid nitrogen and there might be just bits of 'tater next to the canus mortuus. Might stick to the barrel, though.

"Saboted carrots make excellent penetrators. Aim for the carroted artery."

Cringe...that one hurt! You struck a vein instead. We need some higher caliber puns around here.

Because of Croc's sludge problem I got in touch with a guy I haven't seen for years. Went by to give him something today and saw his gun collection. When I used to hunt with him he had 2 shotguns, now he has a room with at least 75 rifles. Some of the old muzzle loaders. Most of his rifles are from 1880 to WWII. Most have been completely rebuilt, blueing-stock. 10 Garands. Lots of old, rare Russian and French models. A WWII Thompson. All with histories of when they were made and where they were used. Oh, he also has a ported 454 Casull and the scars on his hand to show he shot it.

Finally remembered to check my OED.

No, sabot cannot, in the English language at least, be used as a verb.

Sorry. You are sentenced to 10 strokes with a julianned but not saboted carrot.
