Not only is USA unable to defend Taiwan and Kuwait at the same time, but if one thinks horrorable thoughts of the USA in a war with China over Taiwan, then one must realize that this would not be, I repeat NOT, be just a decision to do one or the other, as a war with Iraq over Kuwait would not be a real war but just another military exercise for the USA to fire live rounds and conduct training exercises, where the China option would be a real war zone, like Korea and WWII. I do not have the numbers but i will predict that on a day or week period more USA troops are killed and hurt during peace time military activity on the USA soil caused through accidents the same as happens to all USA citizens each day, than comparied to those during the Gulf so called War. No comparision to actually war time events as Korea and WWII where war really is Hell on Earth, and not what you I and everyone else at their pc in their living room is experiencing at this moment as they read this post. The point I am trying to make is not a nice one, as that either or choice, protect Taiwan or Kuwait has another question present, that is can this USA superpower without using nukes defend Taiwan from a full blown China attack? I say NO. First reason is simple. The number of USA soilders killed and hurt will equal that of the bloodyest days of WWII in the first week. If so the American people would want to know how this massive cost in lives and hurt to their youth in uniform is a fair or necessary trade so that China does not rejoin Chinese people back into what was China long ago. This is not North and South Korea after WWII when Americans understood that that war was fought to protect the world from "mad" folks in power that wanted to inslave the world's population completely. Just to show how sick this is, those Congressmen who must ok any war against China have not the argument and reason to explain to their voting folks back home why they should let their kids in uniform be killed Big Time, not Gulf Little Time. So, they will vote NO so that they get REELECTED. To add a sweet and sour and sicko touch here. USA prez ClinSin is the Commander in Chief and he has to lead any war with China as he must understand what the situation is with the USA military ability to fight China. So does ClinSin know his military readness? Does ClinSin what what is really there. ClinSin who had a problem knowing what "is" is. The state of the USA military is found ONLY in a single voice, that of it commander in chief, the prez, a politician never a soilder, one who lied out of the draft. The prez says alls ok so that his prez in office will be noted in history as good. The prez says good, and if the prez fought China, bad, very very bad, and i'm not talking about the prez. dougak
