Investartist... <<Notice conspicuous absense of PCSTEL,DEFENDALL & VALUEMAN showing any excitement with the great news of IFN and the jump in share price. Sorry to disappoint them with such good news....NOT.>> I believe that you take things too personally!! You confuse the concept of investing to make money. With investing to prove one is right or wrong.. Did I short G* and make a lot of money?? Of course I did!! Did I use my proceeds of my GSTRF short to purchase my current LOR long position.. Yes!! Did I sell my QCOM in the high $170's/short it/ .. just ask RocketScientist.. And I just bought it back in the early 60's.. I trade on investor sentiment.. I invest on the concept of expecting my worst case scenario .. That way I am never disappointed.. And while I welcome the positive press and the rising share prices. Excuse me if I don't skip down the street in joy.. Because in reality.. the IFN News, is not NEW NEWS at all.. Kind of like the news of G* CFO leaving.. OLD NEWS!! It was announced months ago .. If you are a firm believer in QCOM and it's management, then you would find the fact that the IFN system actually works as no surprise at all.. Like I stated here earlier. In my opinion.. QCOM has lost confidence in GLP's ability to make a go of it.. QCOM is the one writing the software/hardware to make it work.. It's in QCOM's hands now.. (Charity work for Qualcomm now). And GSTRF/LOR investors can be thankful of this situation,.. I know I am.. A year ago.. The long's said the short's were wrong because "they did not understand the business plan".. Well, as it turned out.. The shorts were the one's that understood the business plan after all.. 13,000 subs after 7 months.. Because the business plan was flawed.. And the shorts made a killing on this equity!! <g>.. GLP refused to change the business plan.. So QCOM changed it for them.. Remember, when BLS was questioned in the Q1'00 CC about the prospects of MDR data!! Even then, he stated that it could be adopted, but he did not see any reason to move in that direction at that time.. I believe little or nothing that BLS says!! And I believe almost anything the I. Jacobs says!! Credibility is the key here. Now the share price is @ 11 1/2 and suddenly longs such as yourself want to proclaim "victory".. It's only @ 11 1/2 versus $30 a year ago.. And as far as your concept that IFN does not need FAA approval.. Message 14380233 While the content of the IFN system may not need FAA approval for use.. IFN's own web site states that the on-board equipment used most certainly will.. inflightnetwork.com Rockwell-Collins is responsible for all aircraft certification requirements for on-board aircraft systems and equipment. Start showing me some meaningful revenue, or dramatic M/M subscriber ads.. Or maybe those "SP's" that are going to come up with the financing package that is void of additional LORAL funding.. Although I realize they are still on summer vacation.. Remember, I covered my short, and collected the cash months ago. <g> PCSTEL

Only for fear of reprisal once again. I never really posted here until this year when our investment went south.Can you imagine the outbreak if last year someone had posted GSTRF/LOR would go to $5 in 2000? Business associates and friends who followed me into these stocks have been quite taken back by the loss they have taken.Some have sold based on Standard and Poor's and Valueline's recommendation,sizable losses I might add.I feel responsible since they wouldn't have even known what Loral was had I not rah rahed in the first place. Many of you here are quite knowledgeable regarding the technology and it's superiority which helps you keep the faith but to the novice layman who sees it as their largest loss on their monthly statement it just seems like mumbo jumbo. Having been getting a lot of heat I decided to get out of the kitchen and go to New York to find out first hand what I was missing.In an earnest effort to bring you my findings,that which I believed to be of good intentions,I have created upset.I'm sorry.It appeared as though I was kicking when their down and I understand. I didn't respond to the positive and hopefully life saving news of IFN because I told myself after my run in with Mr.Martin it wasn't worth it anymore.By the way I apologize to Mr.Martin and all Texans, that wasn't right. Anyway Tuesday I meet again with our infinite leader in Long Beach at the AIAA Space 2000 Conference of which I am registered but I feel as to not endure more of the issues which have happened I will wish you all great success in your investments and not post here in the future. Good Luck.Maybe I'll see you in May at the annual meeting.
