<<I call them "Ishisms" and "Ishiness" >>

My points are mine alone and have nothing to do with others ideas.

<<the statement
History of India. Makes our slavery seem almost tame. >>

Yep I stand by that. Not Zenophobic or knee jerk like you say, it's the truth. One class eating well, the other eating rotten guts. Bride burning. Are you in favor of bride burning?

Thank you for the vote of support.

People are entitled to opinions, and ignorance is no crime either, as it's curable by education. However, I will speak up when someone (Haq) expresses what I viewed as a racist slur. I don't do enough to make the world a better place, and the examples of Gandhi and MLK are humbling. That Ish brings up the irrelevancy of the caste system the exists in large parts of India, or slavery, as a defense of this slur trivializes the tragedy and evil of both slavery and the caste system. I think I agree with you - I've said what I'll say on this thread and - ish is ishtory.

Actually, Ish is a nice fellow with a good grasp of the basic principles of the Republican Party and their relevance to current issues. He cultivates a certain rusticity and orneriness which can fool the imperceptive into underestimating him..........

This "Ish" contributes so little... Brief and insightful can be a major contribution. Ish is broad minded yet focused. I have witnessed him considering a good argument and modifying his position accordingly. He rarely rambles and I haven't noticed that he redundantly goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about the same point like some people who frequent this thread.
