Wayne, Message 14398307 Iraq is going to consider accepting euros for oil instead of US dollar . He should also consider gold since nobody seems to want it and AG said central banks stand ready to lend gold in increasing quantities should the price rise. -g- Mike

Wayne, I suggest you read the note from Spek preceding yours on the thread. He covers nearly all of them and likes them. I see low growth, low yields and fairly high pe ratios. However, that high pe ratio is relative to the past on these cos. Relative to the market, they look cheap. So, using these as longs in paired trades vs. other stocks makes sense to me. They may be o.k. for a pop, but I don't see where the future growth will come from.
