"Atrica Inc. Confirms $16M Venture Capital Funding" Dow Jones Newswires SAN JOSE -- Atrica Inc. confirmed a report in The Wall Street Journal Monday that it completed its first round financing of $16 million from venture capital firms Accel Partners and Benchmark Capital, as well potential customers including France Telecom (FTE). In a press release Monday, Atrica also confirmed that 3Com Corp. (COM) Chairman Eric Benhamou will join its board. Atrica, which obtained $4 million in seed money from 3Com in February, also said Benchmark Partner Alex Balkanski will join its board.
