God did not create us as robots - he created us in His class. Therefore we have a choice in the matter - in who we will follow. He's will is for all of us to be saved..but not all of us, by our own will, will be saved. God has done all He will ever do. the rest is up to us. ciV

We are by nature "children of wrath" and "dead in our trespasses and sins" without the ability or inclination to reach up to God. We are all like Lazarus, dead until we hear those words of our savior, "come forth". Even the faith that from our perspective we must exercise is a gift from him. ABSOLUTELY, I couldn't agree with you more! When we really come in contact with God we find that even our so called repentences need to be repented of! Chris

The word of God is filled with examples of people who walked contrary to the will of God ...Indeed to this very day even Christians. As CiV said...God did not create robots!!
