Process seems fair enough to me in your case. However, I do not see a reason to possess semi automatics (not suggesting that you do). My grandfather and the entire family lived in his farm. They also had problems with thieves but they did not really need guns under such situations. They would use arms, sticks, stones, dogs and women would use red chili powder, spices on the attackers. Against such backdrop and personal life experiences I don't see need for guns. But considering the gun history in this country I am willing to concede that it is ok to have some simple gun if the individual is living in country or say in wilderness areas as in Alaska. However in urban/semi-urban areas it is a different story. I am concerned about guns falling into wrong hands. Proliferation of any weapons is never a good idea.

Ish,
Why bother explaining gun laws to the liberals? They will still argue for more laws even though enforcement of the current laws does most of the trick. Bad guys, unfortunately don't play by the rules.knc
