"Common sense would tell you that developing a drug for a person is far more costly than developing it for a dog," said Jackie Cottrell. "
Are we supposed to believe that this company developed this medicine for dogs, and then just decided to get it approved for human use? Come on now, even you can't swallow that big a pill. This is a drug company covering it's a*s.
Mr. Gore's basic premise is correct — prescription drugs in general do cost more for humans than for pets.

And why is this? It's because it's profitable to sell this drug at the cost paid by the dog (how does he get his signature on the back of the Visa card anyway?).

You should go back to looking for Vince Foster's murderer. Your pseudo-scandal mongering is getting too weak.

<< <Vice President Al Gore's indignant tale ... came back to bite him yesterday when aides said the story was made up. >>

What a surprise! Could it be that Al Gore or George "Take it up the nose" Bush might not be telling the truth to the voters? Could it be that either one of them will make any promise, or say anything to get them more votes?

I get a laugh out of all of the promises made. Neither one knows if they can stand by their promises, or even if their grand schemes will work.

The bottom line: It's not important what they say, it is important regarding what they will do when they get into office. George "white nostrils" Bush will appoint right wing reactionaries and Clarence Thomas look-alikes to the Supreme Court and to Federal Courts. We would have a fundamentalist court system, and women's health issues and rights, such as abortion, would go down the drain, along with environmental protections.
