hdrjr,

I've got below market orders in on ROIL, PKD and MDR. All three stocks have been very volatile today.

Also looking to cover a short I made on RIG at 64 1/2.

Jim

Amazing how the posts have changed since my sales Thurs of ESNJ and PQUE.

Sold 1/2 of each of those positions for large 2 month gains. On this thread, got lectured about my lack of perceptiveness ala Boom 2000<g>. On Yahoo I got flamed, lol.

Like I said last Thursday, "ST" I didn't think sentiment could get any more bullish. So I was lightening up. I took the reaction to my posts as further evidence of a ST sentiment extreme and decided to sell into strength in a couple of my laggard positions as they began and finished their rallies later than leaders like ESNJ & PQUE. Earlier today completed exiting those laggards for good gains.

I'm NOT bearish LT. Absolutely not. My style, for many years, has been based upon trading Intermediate term swings around core LT positions. Never hit the turns exactly nor do I claim to be able to do that. Just hitting the barn is good enough for me to do just fine<G>.

The action right now may only be a quick, sharp ST dip. But IMHO, an Intermediate top perhaps similar to the one in early July is getting close if not already here.
