What's peculiar is that not only are oil stocks down today, but also pure natural gas plays--and gas is up.

That makes so little sense that I see no reason suddenly to abandon energy stocks. NG fundamentals are ever stronger.

Good trade Iso. These stocks have a strong history of being short on follow-through gains. It all depends on your investing objectives. In a market like this I am more of a buy and hold Dog. The big moves can be made in a heartbeat. To me, it's not worth the small short term gains to risk missing the bigger moves. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't.

If we were in a different oil market environment I would think differently...but right now I gotta stay long and in.

...and watch for the October Oil Surprise.
