You mean that the Constitution is like the bible? I thought the Constitution is a social contract that we who desire to be citizens subscribe to. Do you mean that contracts are to be changed from time to time without bothering to amend them in a formal way?

I am afraid that is why we find ourselves in condition we are presently in. I believe it was Walter Williams that said of the 535 members of Congress there aren't 5 that believe and support the Constitution. I can only think of one.
